Phi Alpha Theta, The History Honor Society was established in 1921 and has grown to over 800 active chapters. The Pi Nu chapter was founded at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1970 and to date has over 400 members and alumni. To qualify for membership in Phi Alpha Theta an undergraduate student must have completed at least 12 hours of History courses with a 3.1 average in those courses, and have at least a 3.0 average in two thirds of all other course work.

Applications for membership can be obtained from the Faculty Advisor, any of the PAT officers or you can download an application under the Membership page.
